Every Lorentz transform that preserves the origin in N-dimensional spacetime can be expressed as the composition of N or fewer reflections. This is a special case of the Cartan-Dieudonné theorem. This article shows some examples and uses the theorem to demonstrate that null rotations can be expressed in terms of ordinary rotations and boosts.
